What If Rent Control Expanded to More Single-Family Homes? 👨‍👨‍👦‍👦

Your advocacy dollars helped stop expanded rent control measures proposed in AB 1157 that would have made rent caps permanent, lowered allowable rent increases, and removed the single-family home exemption for individual property owners. 🏘️

Advocacy isn’t just about passing legislation. Sometimes it’s about preventing policies that could negatively impact housing providers. 🤝
