I was speaking to a client recently and they know another client of mine that recently made a move. They mentioned not seeing the closing posted and asked me to let them know when I posted so they could like it. I honestly was not going to post them any more, I just planned to post listings. It may seem strange to the some people (possibly a majority of people) but to me posting the closings feels like it is sharing personal info even though I never even post names or tag anyone. It is not, I'm aware. I do not share much and will not share much because it is my clients life and privacy. Their life is shared with whoever they choose for it to be a shared with. It is not up to me to decide who knows or doesn't know they moved or where too etc. My profile being a business one is public. Meaning that anyone can see it. It just does not make me feel comfortable sharing info, even public info because quite frankly it is not anyone else's business imo. This post is not meant to say that this way is right and others are wrong. It is just a thought and something I wanted to put out there. It is the reason I have not posted closings until now. My clients know me so well that I know they will not take it personally if I do not post a closing. For now I will post them but going forward I'm not sure if I will continue too. Maybe I will just post based on what each individual client would prefer🤔hmmmm that is a thought.
