2025 deserves a recap!
It was a big one for me and the people I love.
1) I left my job at Children’s in April. This was not an easy decision as I enjoyed the work I did, liked the people I worked with, and I had worked hard for my athletic training career for more than a decade.
2) Mark’s seizure-like episodes finally had more answers and after learning his heart had been stopping/pausing causing these issues, there was at least a solution. He got a pacemaker urgently in April and I’ve been sleeping a bit better since. Grateful for a solution and grateful for him 🤍.
3) I had an amazing year in real estate! I helped my wonderful clients find their first homes, sell their first homes, find their forever homes, build their forever homes, sell their homes due to difficult circumstances, buy homes that fit their new circumstances… you name it! So thankful to have worked with each and every client this year and for the 24 homes sold.
4) We got to spend a lot more time this year with our families! I especially enjoyed all of the time with our nieces and nephew!
5) We sold our 100th St house. I once called it my “therapy home” and it certainly got me through a tough time. Lots of hard work, sweat, and tears went into improving that home and improving myself, and I’d say we both came out better in the end. Mark and I believe in leaving things better than we found them, and this was the first big thing that felt that way for me as we passed the torch. We helped breathe life back into that house, and I hope the new people are loving it!
6) With the help of my sister and brother-in-law, we slowly worked on updating and improving our kitchen! It’s been a slow project, but we capped off the year by adding backsplash and the project should be done pretty soon.
7) My two best friends brought beautiful babies into this world! A reminder to me of what’s important and to sometimes shut out the bad in the world to enjoy the small moments, but to also advocate for a better world for these precious little ones. 💕
