Well we couldn't help ourselves.... We adopted another garden plot! Yucca and alliums transplanted to withstand the ☀️ and sandy soil around the utility boxes. Bees 🐝are already visiting tonight.

Hey we made the news! Excited to share that our first stairwell mural is complete. Thanks Ellie Klug for making our building more beautiful and welcoming.

Ellie Klug, a West Bend high school and recent University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee graduate, has always had a knack for painting, and now she has left her mark on West Bend with a new mural inside the Centrum Building.

Garden beds are tilled, composted, and planted! As always Jon Sacks is a good sport and #1 assistant gardener. Can't wait to see how these grow 🌿

We had fun selecting hardy perennials from ALL the local nurseries and the Lac Lawrann Conservancy plant sale, and annuals supplied by Roots and Branches 🏵️🌷🌼

We've added a 'Take a book, leave a book' bookcase on the First Floor by the elevators, across from Chroma Hair Lounge.

We've started off with a few good Mysteries (Flicker in the Dark was one of our favorites this year, and some classic James Patterson and Clive Cussler), a summer sizzler 🔥 (from Amanda, not Jon), and some angsty YA novels

Struck gold at the Washington County Humane Society MEGA Rummage Sale this weekend with a Jim Selle original 'Abiquiu Aspens'. Jim Selle (1947-2022) was a painter and long time supporter of the Humane Society.
