Hey, Columbus neighbors, if you've been wondering whether summer is still a good time to sell your home, I pulled the actual numbers for you. π‘
The April 2026 Central Ohio Housing Report shows median prices at $346,500, up 8.3% from last year, and inventory sitting at just 2.0 months' supply. That's still firmly in seller's market territory.
What's changed from the frenzy of a few years ago? Pricing strategy and home presentation matter more now. Buyers have more choices than they did in 2022, and they're being selective. But well-prepared, correctly priced homes in neighborhoods like Worthington, Westerville, Pickerington, and Grove City are still selling strongly.
Summer buyers in Columbus are motivated, especially families who need to be settled before school starts. That's real urgency, and it works in your favor as a seller.
Curious what your home could realistically sell for this summer? Drop a comment or send me a message. I'm happy to pull the current comps for your neighborhood. π
