Cape Fear REALTORS® (CFR) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(6) corporation that was created on June 2, 1924. Presently, CFR serves more than 1,850+ REALTORS® in Southeastern North Carolina. We strive to be the premier, innovative resource for technology, services, and information for REALTORS® in our region so that they may better serve their clients. The Association serves the interests of the public by:
- Promoting private property rights.
- Monitoring and proposing regulation and legislation to ensure the availability and affordability of insurance for both residential and commercial property owners
- Work with the National Association of REALTORS®, the North Carolina Association of REALTORS® and the NC Real Estate Commission to promote ethically and legally sound representation for the consumer. Our membership stays abreast of the latest industry advances by completing advance education courses on a host of topics – from technology to standard contract writing.
