It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since the tragic Pulse nightclub shooting changed the Orlando community forever.

We remember the 49 lives taken too soon, honor the survivors, and hold close the families, friends, first responders, and all those whose lives were forever impacted. In the face of unimaginable heartbreak, Orlando showed the world what compassion, resilience, and unity look like.

We remember. We honor. And we choose kindness, acceptance and love.

Remembering Pulse: 10 years later, we mourn, we remember, and we honor. We will never forget the 49 angels.

On June 12, 2016, 49 people were killed and 58 people were hurt in a mass shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando.

Getting ready to install the new bridge in Windermere!!

🚧 Ward Trail Pedestrian Bridge Delivery & Installation Update 🚧

A major milestone for the Ward Trail Project is almost here!

📅 June 15–19, 2026
Weather and transportation conditions permitting, the new pedestrian bridge is expected to be delivered on or about Tuesday, June 16, with installation anticipated on Wednesday, June 17.

🚤 Boater Notice:
The canal beneath the bridge is expected to be temporarily closed to boat traffic for approximately 24 hours during installation. While the closure is currently anticipated for June 17, boaters should be prepared for a temporary canal closure at some point during the week of June 15, as schedules may change due to weather or transportation conditions.

🚚 Residents may notice the oversized bridge being transported through Town before installation.

This exciting milestone brings us one step closer to completing this important community connection.
