Florida property taxes are going to be a BIG topic this fall.

Amendment 3 will be on the November ballot, and it could affect both homesteaded homeowners and owners of rental, commercial and second-home properties.

The proposal would expand the non-school homestead exemption, keep the Save Our Homes cap in place, and reduce the annual assessment cap on many non-homestead properties from 10% to 5%.
