Happy Earth Day 🌎
If you can’t go out and plant a tree today, may I suggest go for a walk and enjoy the beauty around you. Pick up some trash. Walk instead of drive. Open your windows instead of using central air. Compote your food scraps. Recycle. Watch the sunset.
There are so many simple little things we can do that all together make a huge impact over time.

There was a lovely Veterans Day Observance last night at the Winnetka Community House honoring our veterans. Thanks to Carrie and Phil Hoza, Winnetka Park District and Winnetka Scout Troop 20 for organizing and participation. Beautiful singing by Emma Guerra Pastrana and an inspiring talk by Robert Dixon, former Green Beret. Concluding with the 21 gun salute and taps.
