For more than 20 years I have watched real estate industry professionals and “economists” promote hype and spin solely with a goal of driving sales in the end. I get the need to be in business and grow transactions but there has to be a leading goal of educating the marketplace above all even if that means sacrificing sales. I tried in all circumstances of my career to shoot people straight based on their goals, even if it cost me business. I’m not alone in this; thankfully there are many industry pros who operate from the same place but I would estimate there is a balance, possibly even a majority that for ignorance or just self interest, do not care what is best for the client in the end if it costs them a commission. Its with this mission in mind that I have taken to this platform to share my thoughts and views on the Florida Real Estate market.

How do you save money on Disney and Universal theme park tickets? The single biggest rule: never buy tickets at the gate. With variable pricing, a single-day, single-park pass to Magic Kingdom can range from around $110 to nearly $200 depending on the date, and add-ons like Disney’s Lightning Lane can tack on another $15 to $35 per person on top of that. For a family of four or five, that’s serious money just to walk in the door. Instead, buy in advance, and consider an authorized reseller like Undercover Tourist, which can save you real money. Depending on the park, it’s also worth asking about AAA, military, or annual pass discounts, which can cut $30 to $50 per person per day. For a family of four, that adds up fast, easily the cost of a nice dinner in Winter Park. Buying at the gate is essentially the penalty for not planning ahead.
