We are short of apartments, not guests.

A guest came to us in July wanting three months on the lower north shore, October through January. The apartment he wanted was $18,384 for the stay, a shade over $1,800 a week. It was already taken.

Before that, a company after two one bedroom apartments with parking for five months, May through October. We filled one. We could not fill the second.

That is what has been coming in. Long stays, corporate budgets, people ready to commit three and six months at a time, and not enough apartments to put them in.

If you own one on the lower north shore, or anywhere with a decent run into the city, and it is sitting empty, between tenants, or you have had enough of twelve month leases, we very likely have someone looking for it right now.
