Today, The Workers' Food Room brought a slice of the Mediterranean to the precinct. Produce stacked high, stalls in full swing and a game of Pick Your Produce drawing a crowd at the arch.

Kickoff at MQ. 🏈

This morning, Sunrise and TAILGATE Fest ™ teamed up for a special NFL broadcast event, celebrating the LA vs SF game coming to Melbourne, right here at Melbourne Quarter.

For a few hours, the precinct transformed into an authentic American-style tailgate, complete with a vehicle display, an American BBQ smoker and cheerleaders bringing all the energy of game day.

Sunrise also explored MQ, giving viewers a taste of the precinct beyond the broadcast.

Going once, going twice, gone purple. 💜

On Wednesday, Melbourne Quarter marked Wear It Purple Day with a special edition of Social Hour featuring drinks, good bites and one seriously striking artwork.

At the centre of it all: Colours of Courage, a mixed-media piece by Duy Huynh, one of MQ's own LGBTQIA+SB community members.

Made with acrylic paint and gems on canvas, the work captured authenticity, courage and the freedom to express who we are, inspired by this year's Wear It Purple Day theme.

The artwork has been touring MQ Lobbies all week, with the auction closing on Friday with all proceeds going to Wear It Purple, helping create safer, more inclusive spaces for LGBTQIA+ young people.
