Congratulations to our Residential Manager, Amanda Wilson, on winning the Master Builders Queensland 2026 Women in Building Award! 🏆👏

We’re incredibly proud to have Amanda on our team. A well-deserved achievement—congratulations, Amanda! 💐

Master Builders' Queensland 2026 Women in Building Award went to Amanda Wilson from Fergus Builders in Mackay & Whitsunday at Saturday's Housing & Construction Awards.

See the full list of Queensland winners at www.mbqld.com.au/winners-qld

After starting out in accounting, Amanda quickly realised her true passion and joined a local builder. A move to Mackay proved pivotal, where her work running a building comparison business led to an offer to join Fergus Builders. 14 years on, Amanda’s drive has seen her rise through the ranks to become Residential Manager, streamlining business practices, gaining peers’ and clients’ trust, and mentoring and empowering other women, all while studying full-time. Amanda’s leadership and passion make her an inspiration.
