Weather Advisory for the Perth Metropolitan Area – Ex-Tropical Cyclone Narelle 🌧️🌪️
Please be advised that Ex-Tropical Cyclone Narelle is forecast to re-form and track south, bringing widespread rain, strong winds, and potentially severe weather conditions across Western Australia this weekend.
This is expected to be the first major weather event of the season, and we encourage all residents to take a few moments to prepare their lots by:
• Securing or bringing indoors any outdoor furniture, décor, or loose items 🪑
• Ensuring balconies, gardens, and courtyards are clear of items that could become airborne or be damaged 🍃
• Checking that drains and gutters (where accessible) are clear
For your safety and to help minimise potential damage, please ensure you are familiar with your emergency procedures within your strata scheme, as well as within your lot, such as the location of your electrical switchboard, RCDs, and water shut-off valves.
In the event of storm damage or immediate danger, residents should contact the State Emergency Service (SES) on 132 500 or visit: https://www.swanses.org.au/ 🚨
