There’s something special about seeing a new community come to life ✨

We recently had the pleasure of hosting an Owner Information & Welcome Night for the new owners ready to move into Oasis Mt Pleasant. In collaboration with DevelopWise, and with the valued support of Origin Energy and Erin Living Technologies, the evening brought together new owners, giving them the opportunity to meet their neighbours 🤝, ask questions, and start building connections before even moving in.

What stood out most was the genuine sense of community forming, with many of our new owners staying beyond the scheduled finish, enjoying conversations and getting to know one another. In the days that followed, we received calls and emails from owners expressing their appreciation for the event and everyone involved 🙌.

One message in particular captured the impact of the night — an owner shared that she had been feeling nervous about her upcoming move for months, but after attending, she now feels reassured and is genuinely looking forward to settling into her new home.

Moments like these highlight why initiatives like this matter. Creating opportunities for connection early on helps foster trust, comfort, and a sense of belonging — all essential ingredients in building better communities within strata living 🌱.

Please be advised that Ex-Tropical Cyclone Narelle is forecast to re-form and track south, bringing widespread rain, strong winds, and potentially severe weather conditions across Western Australia this weekend.

This is expected to be the first major weather event of the season, and we encourage all residents to take a few moments to prepare their lots by:

• Securing or bringing indoors any outdoor furniture, décor, or loose items 🪑
• Ensuring balconies, gardens, and courtyards are clear of items that could become airborne or be damaged 🍃

"We're very lucky to have Empire Real Estate (and Julie in particular) as the Strata Manager for our complex - as a long term property owner and member of the complex's Council of Owners, I have always found the Empire Team to be very responsive, knowledgeable, reliable and professional in their approach - I was particularly impressed at our most recent AGM, when sufficient owners had already pre-cast their votes to determine the outcome of all decision items on the agenda - with a new owner present, rather than simply announce those results and wind up the meeting in quick time, Julie proceeded to patiently step through each in turn, explaining the background in some detail and very thoroughly responding to that new owner's questions arising - when acknowledging Julie's efforts at the end of that meeting, she was very quick to deflect my compliment by saying that she was simply doing her job - that might have been true in the strict sense, but I have no doubt many other Strata Managers would have just shut that meeting down, in the process leaving our new owner none the wiser as to the background to the various agenda items - true professionalism on display - thankyou Julie once again for your dedicated and conscientious approach!
