I dunno, I think I’m pretty easy to please!

But jokes aside, I do believe the details matter.

They’re what keep a transaction moving, help buyers feel confident, and make sellers feel like their home is being represented well.

So yes, maybe I’m a little picky, but only because my clients deserve someone who notices the things other people might miss.

A few days ago, I asked:

What is one thing you are really GREAT at?

And then I realised…

I had a surprisingly hard time answering that question about myself.

But once I started thinking about it, a few things came to mind.

I think I’m pretty good at people.

Making people feel comfortable.
Making people feel welcome.
Listening.
Caring.

The kind of things that don’t necessarily show up on a resume, but matter an awful lot in life.

I’m also pretty good at making things happen.

Finding a solution when things don’t go according to plan.
Thinking outside the box.
Getting the details sorted.

I actually quite enjoy the “okay…so what are we going to do about this?” moments.

I love creating experiences.

Hosting.
Gifting.
Putting together the little details.
Making something look and feel good.

Apparently I can’t just give someone a gift. There has to be tissue paper, a ribbon and a whole situation. 😂

And then there’s community.

Knowing people.
Connecting people.
Showing up.
Being part of the place I call home.

This one probably means the most to me.

And the funny thing is…

all of those things have found their way into my real estate business.

Because yes, there’s the market knowledge, negotiations and contracts.

But there’s also the listening, problem-solving, details, relationships and making people feel like they’re in good hands.

Turns out, the things we’re naturally good at can become a pretty important part of what we do.

Now I’m curious: what’s YOUR thing?
