For months, many buyers and sellers have been waiting for borrowing costs to fall further before making their move.

But the conversation around interest rates has changed.

📉 Nearly 9 out of 10 homes sold below asking in August.

That statistic tells us a lot about the current Simcoe County real estate market, but it doesn’t tell the whole story.

Prices were relatively stable from July to August. Sales slowed. Fewer new listings came onto the market. And buyers continue to be selective and willing to negotiate.

So, where does that leave us heading into the fall market?
