If you’re out and about in the Cowichan Bay area this Saturday, May 30, you may notice increased emergency vehicle activity.

Local fire departments and BC Wildfire Service crews will be participating in a large-scale wildfire training exercise from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This important training helps ensure our emergency responders are prepared to protect our communities when it matters most.

Please give crews space to work and follow any posted directions.
