- During these challenging time of Covid, we are very safety conscious, practice safe distancing and wear appropriate PPE.

- Upon request, we can assist with developing a floor plan to determine exactly what f

its/where in the new location, with organizational tips to make the most of the new space.

• Carefully pack all furniture and possessions that have been selected to be moved to the new location.

• We have a fantastic experienced moving team, who will carefully and efficiently load, pack and delivery your furnishings safely.

• We proved a zippered re-usable bag for you to carry all the important necessities with you, glasses, medication, jewellery, your personal address book and the tv remote control so it is within reach and at your finger tips when you need it.

• Before the client arrives at the new location we will unpack and set up practically everything! We will be sure to have each room organized and safe, make the bed, hang clothes in closet, set up the bedside table as it was at home so everything feels familiar from the very first day! We even test all the lamps to make sure, the bulbs work, incase someone gets up in the middle of the night and aren’t yet familiar with thier new surroundings.

• We are very proud of our Downsizing and Estate Services. Once the family has determined what they would like to keep, our experienced team donates everything we physically can to keep items up-cycling through community donation organizations. With our large team, we can usually downsize (for real estate photos) or empty a house completely in one day allowing for a faster real estate sale.

Yes, we really do go through everything.

When we're helping to downsize or clear a home, every box, drawer, cupboard, closet and storage bin has to be addressed eventually. With that comes an understanding that what’s inside can be personal, sentimental, valuable, or sometimes completely unexpected.

Experience has taught us when to slow down and take a closer look. If we come across something that may have value, significance or another potential option, we bring it to the attention of the family or person overseeing the move.

It’s a very personal part of what we do, and one we approach with care and discretion.

Some parts of preparing for a move are simply too much to tackle alone and that's where we come in.

Our team is experienced in handling the work that many seniors and their families simply shouldn't have to do on their own. We know how to safely move heavy items, navigate steep stairs, sort through household contents, and identify materials that need to be disposed of responsibly.

It's all part of making the moving process safer, less stressful, and more manageable from beginning to end.

As Certified Senior Move Managers, we help families throughout the Niagara Region create thoughtful, personalized plans that reduce stress and make every transition feel more manageable.

Long before online shopping, there was the Sears Wish Book.

Finding these old catalogues while helping a family prepare for a move always brings a smile. They're a reminder of a time that so many of us shared, but they also remind us of something else.

Sometimes we hold onto the object because we're afraid of losing the memory. It's important to remember that the memories don't live in the paper, they live in the stories we tell.

Share your favourite Sears Wish Book memory in the comments, we'd love to hear it!

The goal of downsizing isn’t to own less simply for the sake of it.

The goal is to make room for what truly matters in this stage of life.

As we sort through a home, we use a simple system to identify the items that are coming along for the next chapter. From there, we thoughtfully work through what can be donated, sold, recycled, or responsibly let go.

If you or someone you love is preparing for a move, we’re here to help make every step feel a little more manageable 💚

The pantry is one of the easiest places for time to sneak up on us.

As we help families prepare for a move, one of the things we do is carefully sort through pantry items. We check best before dates, identify unopened food that may still be suitable for donation, and responsibly dispose of anything that's no longer safe or useful.

This is a good reminder for us all - take a few minutes every couple of months to rotate your pantry, use older items first, and donate non-perishable food before it expires.

One shelf at a time, those small decisions can make a big difference.
