The City of Fredericton is beginning the process to include amalgamated areas into the City’s Municipal Plan and Zoning By-Law to create a coordinated approach to land use planning across Fredericton.

As part of this process the City will be hosting open houses to gather feedback from residents to help ensure that land is developed, and conserved in ways that support safe, sustainable, and well-planned communities. This engagement will help shape how these areas are integrated into the City’s Municipal Plan and Zoning By-law, with a focus on land-use planning and development, not property taxes or municipal service levels.

Attend one of the upcoming open houses to learn more about this work and help shape the future of these neighbourhoods:

Online Sessions:
- Thursday, September 17 from 1:00pm – 2:30pm (English)
- Friday, September 18 from 1:00pm – 2:30pm (French)

In-Person Sessions:
- Tuesday, September 22 from 6:30pm-8:00pm at Barkers Point School, 39 Carman Ave, Fredericton

- Wednesday, September 23 from 6:00pm-7:30pm at Douglas Baptist Church, 1012 Route 105 Douglas

- Thursday, September 24 from 6:00pm-7:30pm at the Nashwaaksis Lions Club, 37 Route 148, Killarney Road
