Today on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honor the children who never returned home, the survivors, and the families and communities affected by the Indian Residential School system.

Reconciliation is an ongoing process that requires active listening, education, and meaningful action.

🔑 The Deposit (The "I'm Serious" Money)

When: Paid within 24 hours of your offer being accepted.
Why: Shows the seller you're committed.
Where it goes: Held safely in a trust account until closing day.
How much: Typically around 5% of the purchase price.

💰 The Down Payment (The Equity Money)
When: Paid at closing.
Why: The total upfront cash you contribute toward the home's purchase price (your mortgage covers the rest).
