Our Kelowna team recently came together for our quarterly team event at BNA Brewing Co., where we enjoyed an evening of bowling, friendly competition, and great company.

These events provide a great opportunity to connect outside of the office, celebrate our team's successes, and strengthen the relationships that help us collaborate effectively every day.

Faction attended the grand opening of Okanagan College's new student housing facility in Penticton, celebrating an important milestone for both the college and the South Okanagan community. The new 101-bed residence completes Okanagan College's commitment to providing student housing across all of its campuses.

Faction provided Integrated Project Delivery services throughout the project, helping guide it from concept to completion. Through the collaborative efforts of the entire project team, this much-needed development has become a reality, providing students with a modern, comfortable, and supportive place to call home while pursuing their education.

Congratulations to Okanagan College and everyone involved in bringing this exciting project to life. We're proud to have been part of such a meaningful addition to the campus and community.

Construction is officially underway on Edmonton Student Housing, marking an important milestone for a project that will bring new purpose-built student housing to downtown Edmonton.

Faction’s integrated Development Management, Architecture + Planning and Construction Management teams have been involved throughout the project - from early planning and approvals through pre-development & pre-design, pre-construction and now into construction on the North Phase.

With several nearby post-secondary institutions continuing to serve and attract a growing student population, the need for well-located student housing in Edmonton’s downtown core remains significant. We’re proud to be part of a project that will add new housing options for students while contributing to the continued evolution of downtown Edmonton.

It’s exciting to see the North Phase move from years of planning into construction, and we look forward to the work ahead.

We are grateful for our company to be given the opportunity to sponsor and enter a team in the Dan Ruggiero Memorial Golf Tournament at Gallagher’s Canyon. It was a privilege to stand alongside his family and friends, celebrate his memory, and support a cause that reminds us all of the importance of connection, compassion, and mental health awareness.

Days like this remind us of the importance of looking out for one another and having open conversations about mental health. Sometimes, the people who need support the most may not feel comfortable asking for it. A simple check-in or conversation can make a meaningful difference.

This 40,000 square-foot facility is an important investment in skilled trades education and workforce development in northwestern Alberta, providing modern, industry-aligned spaces for hands-on learning and training.

Bruno brings more than 20 years of experience in infrastructure, building construction, and project management. His extensive background includes project planning, estimating, scheduling, budget and schedule control, contractor oversight, progress reporting, and stakeholder coordination. He has successfully managed complex construction projects while working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical and operational challenges.

Known for his collaborative leadership style and strong work ethic, Bruno is an engaged and highly respected construction professional who consistently delivers results. His ability to lead teams, manage project risks, and foster positive working relationships has been instrumental to the success of numerous projects.
