📊 London & St. Thomas Market Update | May 2026
What we’re seeing in the market this month:
• More buyers are getting off the sidelines and making moves
• Prices saw a noticeable jump across many areas of the region
• Inventory is beginning to stabilize, giving buyers options while creating opportunities for well-prepared sellers
May was another positive month for our local market, with 776 homes sold — up nearly 9% from this time last year and continuing a trend of steady month-over-month growth.
The average sale price climbed to $662,292, up from $618,665 in April, while inventory levels tightened slightly and the market moved a little closer toward balanced conditions.
The biggest takeaway? Activity is picking up as we head into summer. Buyers are gaining confidence, homes are selling, and we’re seeing more movement than we did earlier this year.
As always, every neighbourhood and price point is a little different, so if you’re wondering what these numbers mean for your specific situation, send us a message, we’re always happy to chat. ☀️🏡
