Job Opportunity

We are hiring an Asset Management Technologist for Regional Water!

In this role, you are responsible for coordinating and maintaining the Asset Management Plan for regional water systems, including updating asset valuations, condition assessments, and related information. You maintain and update the asset registry and asset management system to reflect operational changes, maintenance and repair activities, capital replacements, new asset installations, and internally administered assets, including security and Information Technology/Operational Technology (IT/OT) assets. You also establish asset replacement priorities for capital and operating programs by analyzing asset inventories, studies, reports, and condition assessments. You prepare construction cost estimates to support capital planning, budgeting, and asset replacement decisions.

We are looking for candidates who have:
• Minimum three-year community college civil engineering diploma (or equivalent)
• Full member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologist (OACETT) or Associate Member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) with full membership as a Certified Engineering Technologist completed within three years.
• Minimum of four years of experience working in an engineering or technology related field, during which responsibilities included project management and contract administration.
