OREA CEO Tim Hudak called for pre-matured rate cuts from Bank of Canada in his op-ed.

Look at what interest rate disparity between Bank of Japan and Federal Reserve has done to Japanese Yen in the past 24 months -- 20+% currency devaluation.

Now imagine everything Canada import from the US goes up 25% in price because CAD goes down 20+% against USD. That's what would happen if Bank of Canada does exactly what Tim Hudak is suggesting in his op-ed.

Let's hope Bank of Canada ignores Tim and don't cut rate today.
