Would you rather buy a $600K condo in Mississauga or a $600K townhouse farther west?
This is actually a conversation I think more GTA buyers should be having.
Because when you have a budget of around $600K, the question isn't always:
“Can I afford a home?”
Sometimes it's:
“Where am I willing to live to get the type of home I actually want?”
For example…
📍 Mississauga
You may be looking more at a condo apartment or smaller condo/townhome options, depending on the area.
📍 Further west
You may have more opportunities to find a townhouse or a property with more space for a similar budget.
So what would YOU choose?
A) Stay closer to Mississauga, have the location you want, but compromise on space.
B) Move a little farther west and potentially get more space, a townhouse, and possibly a yard.
There isn't a right answer.
It really depends on your work commute, family, lifestyle, transportation and what matters most to you.
And this is exactly why I don't like simply sending buyers a bunch of listings.
Your budget doesn't tell the whole story. Your priorities do.
If you're currently renting and trying to figure out whether your money would get you further in Mississauga, Brampton, Milton, Burlington, Hamilton or another GTA area, I can help you compare your options.
👇 Comment “A” or “B”
And if you're actually planning to buy within the next 6–12 months, DM me and I'll help you figure out what type of property and areas I would look at based on your budget.
No pressure. Just a conversation to help you get clear on your options. 🏠
