What a day! 😃
On Wednesday, I attended TRREB REALTOR Quest 2026 and had the opportunity to see the Former First Lady, Michelle Obama. I'm still thinking about it.
She took the stage and captivated the room. She shared stories from her upbringing, her work, and her years in the White House with good humour, grace, and authenticity. She is a gifted speaker. 🌟
A line that hit home for me…"When they go low, we go high." This is a well known Obama quote. Her story and the build up of sharing it, and the reason she said it in the first place is what made it sink in for me.
To me in real estate, it means choosing integrity every time. In negotiations, in communication, and in how we show up for our clients. Markets get competitive and emotions can run high, and when things get tough, which they sometimes do. It is my job to stay grounded, solution-oriented, and focused on protecting my clients' best interests. Never losing sight of what matters to them.
Grateful for the reminder, and the opportunity to see one of the good ones.
P.S. She has no plans to run for President. (sigh) 😔
