Are you looking for land for:

Agricultural use?
Residential or development review?
Commercial use?
Industrial use?
A future building site?
Long-term land holding?
Another specific objective?

The same parcel may be relevant to one buyer and completely unsuitable for another.

That is why G1 Lands wants to understand the purpose behind the purchase, not only the acreage.

Before comparing opportunities, define what you want the land to accomplish.

Submit your buyer requirement:

Start by narrowing the search.

Two of the most important buyer criteria are simple:

Where are you looking?
And how much land do you actually need?

Think about:

City or municipality
Region
Rural vs. urban preference
Growth-area interest
Distance from major highways or cities
Minimum and maximum acreage

Instead of saying:

“I’m looking for land in Ontario.”

Try:

“I’m looking for approximately 20–50 acres in the Niagara Region.”

That gives G1 Lands a much stronger starting point for the conversation.

Region + size = a more focused land search.

Submit your buyer requirement privately:
https://forms.gle/rwVAeK91rJj7q42Z9

Then join us at the Land Buying & Selling Event – Niagara Falls 2026.

Looking for land in Ontario?

The more specific your requirement, the more useful the conversation can become.

Before speaking with G1 Lands, define:

Region
Acreage range
Intended use
Access requirements
Servicing needs
Timing
Budget range

A buyer looking for 10 acres near a specific municipality has a very different requirement from someone seeking 100+ acres for development, agriculture, or long-term holding.

You do not need every answer today.

But clearer criteria help us understand what may be worth discussing with you.

Build your buyer requirement before the Land Buying & Selling Event.

Submit your requirement privately:

Before you attend the Land Buying & Selling Event, answer these five questions:

1. What will I use the land for?
Define the objective.

2. Where am I prepared to buy?
Define the geography.

3. What parcel characteristics actually fit?
Define acreage, frontage, access, use, servicing, and other non-negotiables.

4. What information must I verify?
Separate what is known from what still requires due diligence.

5. What is my decision timeline?
Know whether you are exploring, researching, reviewing, or ready to move.

You do not need every answer before attending.

But clearer criteria can lead to better conversations with sellers, G1 Lands, developers, builders, lenders, planners, lawyers, engineers, and other professionals in the room.

Save this post. Bring your questions. Arrive with a defined land criterion.

Timing changes the land conversation.

A buyer who is simply exploring the market needs something different from someone actively looking to acquire a property now.

Know where you are:

Exploring opportunities
Researching areas and criteria
Ready to review properties
Arranging financing
Actively searching
Working toward a specific project timeline

There is no wrong stage.

But being clear about your timing helps sellers, opportunity sources, professionals, and G1 Lands understand what type of next step is actually useful.

At the Land Buying & Selling Event – Niagara Falls 2026, come prepared to explain not only what you want—but when you are prepared to act.

A property can look promising and still require significant review.

Before making a land decision, buyers may need to verify:

Current zoning
Official Plan context
Road access and frontage
Water and wastewater
Hydro and utilities
Environmental or physical constraints
Existing studies
Planning applications or approvals
Additional professional review

The key distinction:

Potential is not permission.

A future possibility, planning concept, or attractive location should never be confused with an existing approval.

At the Land Buying & Selling Event, ask questions, gather information, meet relevant professionals, and identify what still needs independent verification before moving forward.

Acreage alone does not define buyer fit.

Two 25-acre parcels can perform very differently depending on:

Road frontage
Parcel depth and shape
Access
Existing structures
Current land use
Location
Servicing
Budget
Intended use

Before comparing opportunities, identify your non-negotiables.

Do you need wide frontage? Direct road access? A minimum acreage? Existing services? Agricultural use? Development context?

The more clearly you understand the parcel characteristics that matter, the more productive your land search becomes.

At the Land Buying & Selling Event, bring your criteria and use them to guide your conversations.

“Anywhere in Ontario” creates a very different search from a clearly defined target area.

Before attending the event, think about:

Preferred municipality or region
Urban, rural, or growth-area preference
Distance from major cities or highways
Geographic boundaries you will consider
Areas you definitely will not consider

The clearer the location criteria, the easier it becomes to identify opportunities that deserve a closer look.

At the Land Buying & Selling Event – Niagara Falls 2026, buyers will be able to explore land opportunities and speak directly with people involved in Ontario land.

Come with a region in mind.

Where are you actually prepared to buy?
