There’s always something.

The lawn needs mowing. The leaves need dealing with. Something needs painting, fixing, cleaning or replacing. And somehow the phrase “I’ll just do this quickly” can erase half a Saturday.

Some people genuinely love taking care of all of it. Some people are starting to think they’d rather have their weekend back.
