It's time to donate! Today I'm giving $200 to the Nelson Public Library, and I wanted to take a minute to talk about why that matters to me. Books have been shaping who we are since before anyone alive today was born.
Libraries are what carried that gift forward. They are one of the last free, no-strings-attached public spaces left, anyone can walk in, borrow a book, use a computer, bring their kids to story time, or just sit somewhere warm and quiet. Nelson's library builds exactly that: welcoming spaces and programming for kids, teens, adults, and seniors alike.
So if you love reading, love books, or just love having a place in this town that belongs to everyone, consider supporting the Nelson Public Library too.
