The beautiful Pretoria Bridge in Ottawa

The bridge took its name from Pretoria Avenue. The street (originally Jane Street) had been renamed in 1902 to honor Canadian troops who served in the Second Boer War, celebrating the capture of the South African capital, Pretoria.
