Total sales numbered 2,150 for May 2026, -3.5% compared to May 2025 and -26.6% compared to the 10 year seasonal average ๐Ÿ“‰๐Ÿ“‰

The composite sales-to-active-listings ratio was 13.1%, another small slide compared to last month. Detached homes remain in the buyers' market realm, while townhomes and apartments linger in the balanced realm. Here's the breakdown: detached homes (10.7%), townhomes (15.4%), and apartments (14.2%) ๐ŸงŠโš–๏ธโš–๏ธ

๐ŸกDetached - number of sales +0.9% and benchmark price -6.9% compared to May 2025.

๐Ÿ˜๏ธTownhouse - number of sales -1.3% and benchmark price -5.1% compared to May 2025.

๐ŸขApartment - number of sales -7.2% and benchmark price -7.9% compared to May 2025.

What does this mean? ๐Ÿค”
Seller listing activity slowed in May compared to last year, allowing for overall market conditions to remain balanced as Buyer activity also remained mutedโš–๏ธ

Some segments are seeing significant uptick in activity, though - detached homes being the leader of that pack ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿก
