Apparently, I wasn’t an oddly specific child, I was just training for real estate.

While other kids played “school”, I played “show home”. I knew paint colours by name and number, rearranged my bedroom relentlessly, spent weekends on build sites with my dad, and helped my mom fill photo albums with new listings at the RE/MAX office in Estevan.

I even designed my first house at 12—and shockingly, it actually got built.

Looking back, the signs weren’t subtle. My love for real estate didn’t exactly find me. It was there all along. 🏡
