A well-deserved industry nod for Joanne Shao.

Joanne, Century Group’s Vice President, Development, has been nominated for Urban Land Institute - British Columbia Women’s Leadership Initiative 2026 Outstanding Leader Award.

This peer-nominated recognition celebrates women contributing to BC’s real estate development industry through leadership, mentorship, and industry involvement.

Those who work with Joanne know this nomination fits. She is thoughtful, direct, calm under pressure, and is known for leading with candor. She asks the hard questions, makes room for honest conversations, and helps teams move through complex work with clarity.
