Rio is the next stop for GDX.

Merri Jo Cowen, President of GDX, and Escudero, GDX / IMLSF Ambassador for Latin America, are heading to CIMI - congresso imobiliário in Rio de Janeiro on August 27-28.

They’ll be meeting with real estate leaders from across the region to talk about the practical work behind cross-border collaboration: trusted property data, common standards and connections that respect local market rules and ownership.

Latin America is an important part of the GDX conversation, and CIMI360 is a good place to continue it face to face.

Will AI replace real estate brokers and agents?

🇮🇳 🌍 Welcome Farook Mahmood, Ambassador of GDX / IMLSF in India.

Farook is Chairman & Managing Director of Silverline Group and brings more than 38 years of experience in real estate.

He is Founder President of FIABCI-India, served as FIABCI World President in 2017-18, and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has also been closely involved in the development of NAR-India and the Bangalore Realtors Association of India.

Farook now brings that experience to the GDX / IMLSF ambassador network, helping connect India’s real estate community with international work around MLS, data standards and cross-border cooperation.

We’re pleased to welcome Arisa Homma as GDX / IMLSF Ambassador in Japan.

Arisa is Deputy Secretary General of the International Relations Division at JARECO, where she works on cooperation between the Japanese and U.S. real estate industries.

She has been involved with JARECO since 2018, supporting international conferences, education and professional networking. In 2020, she was appointed an International Director of the National Association of REALTORS® and was reappointed in 2025.

In 2023, Arisa also launched JARECO’s Women’s Division to support greater participation and advancement for women in the real estate industry.

As Ambassador in Japan, she will help bring Japanese market knowledge into the GDX and International MLS Forum community, with a focus on trusted property data, interoperability and cross-border professional cooperation.
