From marketing to real estate, and everything that matters in between!

Helping first-time buyers purchase their very first home is truly one of the BEST parts of my job:

It always sticks with me.

I was introduced to my amazing new clients from 75 Rockcliffe, and we got to work right away. We booked our first round of showings and, wouldn’t you know it, the VERY first house we walked into was the one! So an offer was made that SAME day, and was secured less than 12 hours later!

It was a moment they'd been waiting a long time for, so congrats to my wonderful clients, on becoming homeowners.

When I hand over the keys, I don't really feel like my job is done. Because I know that the first few months of living in your new home are where a lot of people get stuck.

Which paint colour?
Where does the sofa go?
Why does this room not flow?

To help with this, every Matter Homes buyer gets a two-hour, in-home design consultation with my friend Meg Rogers of Meg Rogers Design , one of Toronto's most talented interior designers.

Meg comes to you and walks through your new home with you. She'll help with paint, furniture layout, styling, décor, and the practical stuff too, like making a room work for how you really live, not how it looked in the listing photos.

It's the stuff that really makes is a HOME, and can be frustrating to do alone, but is one of my favourite parts of the whole process together.

They say home is where the heart is, and I don’t think I’ve ever understood that more than I do with this home–our home. ❤🏠 ❤ After so many wonderful years, Matt and I have decided it’s time for another family to call 13 Hopedale home.

This house has been such a special place for our family. We’ve renovated it, loved it, raised our boys in it, and filled it with more memories than I could ever fit into one post.

13 Hopedale Ave has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the coziest interior, but what has made it truly feel like home has always been the community around us. The neighbours who became friends. The kids running between houses and backyards. The impromptu get-togethers, the street hangs and knowing there was always someone close by. This little street has given our family so much, and THAT will be the hardest part to leave.

We are SO excited for our next chapter, but I know a big piece of our hearts will always stay right here.

An extra special moment to round out the work week: helping a family friend find their perfect home in my very own neighbourhood. ❤🏠 This might just be the BEST part of my job.

39 Beechwood is a very special home. Tucked into one of the most unique little pockets of the east end, the property is private, peacedful, and surrounded by nature, giving it the feel of a little hillside retreat in the city.

My hugest congrats to this wonderful family on the purchase of their equally wonderful new home! Welcome to the neighbourhood, friends! It's a match made in heaven.
