Most real estate data is easily accessible now, which is why hiring an experienced agent matters more than it used to.

Everyone has access to what’s listed on Realtor.ca.

But I’ve never seen AI read a seller’s body language across the kitchen table.

I’ve never seen AI lean on a network of agents with off-market options when you can’t find what you’re looking for.

I’ve never seen an algorithm call a listing agent and uncover why a home’s been sitting on MLS,
or what would motivate the homeowners to move on price.

The information isn’t the hard part anymore. Knowing what to do with it is.

2025 taught me a lot. It wasn't my easiest year.

I stepped away from real estate to take care of the people who matter most to me. And in that quiet, I had time to question EVERYTHING. I mean EV 👏 ER 👏 Y 👏 THING 👏.

But here’s what I know now: the right people in your corner change everything. And I had the right people.

This post is not about the hardware. It's about the foundation you build, the brokerage that believes in you, and the people who refuse to let you give up on yourself... they carry you further than you know.

Here’s to showing up. Here’s to the people who remind you why you started. And here’s to 2026. 🥂
