Streak-Free Floors Using Just Vinegar + Water

Grab These:

White vinegar (½ cup)
Hot water (1 gallon)
Bucket and mop
Vacuum or broom
How It's Done:

Step 1: Prep the Space
Clear away furniture and loose debris, then vacuum or sweep thoroughly. Skipping this step means dirt turns into muddy smears once you start mopping.

Step 2: Make the Cleaner
Pour ½ cup white vinegar into your bucket along with 1 gallon of hot (not scalding) water. This natural combo breaks down grease and buildup without leaving any film behind.

Step 3: Mop the Right Way
Squeeze excess water from your mop, soggy mops lead to streaking and can warp certain flooring. Move section by section in a figure-8 pattern for full, even coverage.

Step 4: Skip the Rinse
There's no need to rinse afterward, just let your floors dry naturally. The vinegar scent fades as it dries, leaving behind floors that are fresh and gleaming.

Spot-test hardwood in an inconspicuous area first

Progress Update: 5 Knight Street, Garden Suite Foundation Pour

We’re back at 5 Knight Street with video update #2, where the Garden Suite foundation walls are taking shape, soon to be home for our clients, Joe and Maria.

Since our last update, we’ve completed the kickoff meeting, caisson drilling and shoring, excavation, and footing pours. Now, we’re onto the foundation walls, and everything is right on schedule.

The Garden Suite is being completed ahead of the main building, allowing Joe and Maria to take occupancy separately and move back in sooner.
