Chilliwack Is Repaving Six Roads This Fall, Here’s Why That Matters
The City of Chilliwack has confirmed a paving program running from August through October, covering six roads across Rosedale, near Little Mountain, Ryder Lake, Yarrow, Greendale, and near Fairfield Island. Annis Road, Yale Road, Ryder Lake Road, Giesbrecht Road, and McSween Road are all included, alongside a city-wide line-marking program starting this month.
For buyers and sellers, road and infrastructure investment is one of the easiest signals to read and one of the most overlooked. Municipalities don’t allocate paving budgets randomly. These decisions tend to follow population growth, development activity, and where the city expects continued demand. If you own property in one of these areas, or you’re watching Chilliwack for your next move, this kind of civic spending is worth factoring into your timeline.
