Something I think we all need reminding of sometimes: there’s no timeline you need to follow.

It’s easy to look around and feel like everyone is buying their first house, upgrading to something bigger, renovating, moving to a “better” neighbourhood… and wonder if you should be doing the same.

But what makes sense for someone else might not make sense for you.

Maybe you love your smaller house and would rather have more money left over every month. Maybe you could afford to move, but don’t want the bigger mortgage. Maybe you’ve completely outgrown your house and moving would genuinely make your day-to-day life better.

There isn’t one right answer.

Sometimes moving makes sense. Sometimes staying put does. And sometimes it’s worth just looking at the numbers and your options before deciding either way.

Your home should work for the life you actually live - not the one you think you’re supposed to have.

I’m never quite ready for summer to end, but I do love the feeling that comes with September.

It always makes me want to get back into a routine, get organized and refocus on a few things I’ve let slide over the summer.

For me, that means being more consistent with eating healthy and working out, getting some home projects done and putting some fresh energy into my business for the rest of the year.

Basically, just getting back on track a little.

I’m sure I’m not the only one with a list of things I’ve been putting off until “after summer.”

And if figuring out a move happens to be on yours (especially if you’d love to be in your new home by Christmas) now is a good time to start thinking it through.

After 10 years of calling this condo home, there were so many great memories made here. It’s been the backdrop to a lot of life over the years, so saying goodbye definitely comes with some mixed emotions.

But we couldn’t be happier for our sellers and the exciting new chapter they’ve already started. 🏡

This condo was the perfect first home for our sellers and the beginning of such an important chapter in their lives. But as their family grew, so did their need for more space- and it was time to trade downtown condo living for a home and backyard with room for their next chapter.

There’s no sugarcoating it: selling a condo in Toronto’s current market is challenging. With plenty of inventory for buyers to choose from and market conditions constantly shifting, we knew this sale would require patience, close attention and a willingness to adapt.

We kept a careful eye on competing listings, buyer activity and recent sales, making strategic adjustments along the way to ensure their condo stayed well positioned. Just over one month after hitting the market, 15 Brunel Court - 112 officially sold firm!

This move marks an exciting new chapter. After creating so many great memories in their downtown condo, it was time for a home that could grow right alongside their family.
