We’re proud to recognize Shindico team member Linda Cymbalisty for participating in this year’s Ride for Dad Manitoba, helping raise funds and awareness in the fight against prostate cancer.

This year’s ride welcomed 1,272 registered riders and raised more than $535,000 for prostate cancer research and education in Manitoba, bringing the event’s 18-year fundraising total to over $6.5 million.

Thank you to Linda and all the riders, volunteers, donors, and organizers whose efforts continue to make a meaningful impact in communities across Manitoba.

Drawing on his roots in Portage la Prairie, Sandy discussed the importance of confidence, collaboration, housing development, and investment in driving long-term growth across rural Manitoba. He also shared perspectives on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in business and the opportunities it presents when paired with human expertise.

Helen Chattree has been part of the Shindico team for over 17 years and currently serves as Property Manager. In her role, she works in a hybrid capacity as the on-site manager for Number One Evergreen Place. She combines day-to-day operational oversight with process improvement, efficiency initiatives, and mentorship and training for building managers and property analysts.

“I’ve learned that the Shindico motto of succeeding by helping others succeed is something that truly applies to both work and life,” Helen shares. “You get what you give, and when you bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to support others, it tends to come back to you in different ways.”

“What I enjoy most about working at Shindico is the team and the variety,” she adds. “We are given the opportunity to take on a variety of projects and tasks not necessarily within our role, which helps us grow and learn. In my present role, I most enjoy taking care of the residents. It’s very rewarding.”
