Last little job before Christmas and the new year.

I was going to put 'another one' in the description of this post.

But it deserves a little more.

This was a dangerous, crumbling Victorian wall. Being a public pathway, we had to dismantle it brick by brick, rather than the usual (very satisfying) method of simply pushing it over!

Once cleared, we erected this 7ft tall fence. We used 10ft concrete posts as to ensure it will never move. Each post hole took nearly two barrows of concrete to fill. We then filled the line between the new fence and the garden with concreted and reinforced it with the aid of rebar.

Basically, if the house ever tries to fall down, this fence will hold it up!
