We're thrilled to announce the start on site at Addington Road, Irthlingborough, our first East Midlands scheme in partnership with the brilliant team at Amplius! 🤝

This fantastic development will deliver 54 high-quality homes, a mix of 1, 2, 3- and 4-bedroom properties, built using sustainable timber-frame construction, and set to generate an incredible £1 million in social value for the local community. 💚

Creating opportunities and building futures at Yardley Brook 🏗️💙

We’re happy to share that the Construction Gateway Scheme at Yardley Brook is moving into its next phase, with 12 candidates preparing to start their 2-week work placements on site.

Working alongside our trusted partner L. Healy’s, these placements will give candidates valuable hands-on experience and a real opportunity to grow their confidence and skills in construction.

For those who do well, there will be the chance to secure an apprenticeship or employment with Healy’s, and for anyone who doesn’t move straight into a role, support will continue through our construction recruitment partners, helping them stay connected to future opportunities.

At Morro Partnerships, we’re passionate about supporting people into meaningful careers, strengthening local communities, and opening doors for the next generation ✨🤝

🏗️ Old Fallings Crescent, Wolverhampton, is now complete and has been handed over! 🏡

This exciting development delivered 24 affordable homes in partnership with Wolverhampton City Council 🤝

Alongside building much-needed homes, we also supported the local community by donating reusable materials to The Reuse Hub in Wolverhampton. From tables and chairs to bricks and pallets, around 10 tonnes of materials were donated and repurposed. We also donated 30 hi-vis vests to Wolverhampton College. Thanks to Abdul Mozzamdar for approaching the college and offering surplus vests with old branding, giving them a valuable second life.

We also signed up to Wolverhampton Council’s ‘meaningful work experience’ Programme, creating opportunities to work with schools across the region through work experience placements and site visits.

At Morro, we’re not just building homes, we’re helping to build stronger communities 💙🏘️

At Morro, community isn’t an afterthought, it’s the foundation. By pushing the boundaries of how people live, work, and play, we’re creating homes that are affordable, accessible, and sustainable, while building places where people truly feel they belong. And our commitment goes beyond bricks. Between March 2024 and April 2025, we’ve:
• Donated £25,000+ to local initiatives and charities
• Contributed 150+ voluntary hours supporting a range of meaningful causes
• Generated £5.2 million in total social value from April 2024 to March 2025

We strive to create communities that are diverse, empowering, and inclusive spaces where everyone benefits, and anyone can belong ✨

With the best team at hand and people at the heart of everything we do, we’re proud to be building more than homes. We’re building impact. We’re building opportunity. We’re building better tomorrows.

Simon Preston, Ashley Ineson, Jack Marriott and Lewis Fereday, were delighted to attend the official opening ceremony, joined by Kim Smith, Mayor of East Staffordshire.

This fantastic new development for the over-55s is more than just homes, it’s a project with real community impact, delivering almost £500,000 in social value outcomes 🙌💙

Last week at Morro Partnerships, we came together for Mental Health Awareness Week 💚

From welcoming State of Mind to our East and West Midlands offices, to Band of Builders visiting our Swan Lane, Dixons and Yardley Brook sites, the week was filled with meaningful moments of connection and support. 🙌

Our teams also took time to step away from their screens, enjoy some sweet treats 🍬, and get involved in activities designed to encourage conversation and wellbeing. We rounded off the week with a wellness walk as the Morro team came together to reflect and recharge 🚶‍♂️🌿

It was an important reminder that looking out for ourselves and each other matters, not just during Mental Health Awareness Week, but every day. Mental health should always remain a priority. 💚

Our CEO, Matt Moore, is passionate and clear on our vision:
“Morro stands for striving to create a better tomorrow for our homes and communities, our industry, our teams and our environment. I am incredibly proud of the positive impact we are all collectively making.”

With a firm focus on partnership, sustainability and long-term impact, Morro is all about doing things the right way. And when Matt isn't constantly seeking to positively change our homes and communities, you'll probably catch him immersed in his love of music and seeing people having a great time. The office regularly runs on his DJ playlists, and you'll often find him behind the decks at charity events or local venues. Because great leadership should be about positivity and have rhythm, too. 🏡🕺
