We're delighted to be delivering 28 new build timber frame homes alongside our valued partners at Black Country Housing Group! 🤝

For us, it's not just about building homes, it's about building community and leaving a lasting legacy 💛

We're seeing great progress at our Projects Drive, Rugby development, with timber frames now being erected across the site! This brownfield site will deliver 108 new homes, adding to the existing residential community in the area. 🏡

Big things are under way at Blackberry Street! In partnership with our valued partners at EMH Homes, we're seeing great progress on site as timber frames continue to be erected across the development.

This scheme will deliver 31 new build affordable homes, adding to the existing residential community in the area. 🏡

As part of this project, we're proud to be creating opportunities through Direct Employees, Supply Chain Employees, Work Placements, and ROTL placements, supporting people alongside every home we build. 🤝

To mark National Food Bank Day, the Morro Partnerships team came together across the business, from the offices and sites in our East and West regions, and at the Innovation Hub, to collect donations for the Cannock and District Foodbank and the Midland Langar Seva Society.

We're incredibly proud of the team and every donation made. It's acts of service like this that make a real difference to the communities we build in. 🏗️❤️

We're delighted to have started on site at The Dales, Askew Grove, Repton, Derby.

This development will deliver:
🏡 A 28 unit Retirement Living Scheme for Trent & Dove Housing
🔑 20 Rented and 8 Shared Ownership 1 & 2 bed apartments
♻️ Heat recovery cylinders in every apartment for energy efficient hot water, paired with low surface temperature electric panel heaters
📞 A Warden Call system, supporting independent living and providing round the clock peace of mind for vulnerable residents
🌱 The regeneration of a brownfield site, supported by funding from the EMCCA Brownfield Fund
🦚 A fun fact for the village, it's home to a resident flock of peacocks!

As part of our commitment to social value, 15% of the scheme value will go towards social value initiatives. This will include direct local full-time employees hired or retained, local work experience placements, tonnes of waste diverted from landfill or incineration through recycling partnerships, and volunteering hours delivered for local community projects.

We're excited to be working with Trent & Dove Housing on this scheme and look forward to sharing progress as the build develops

We've handed over our Empress Road development to Nottingham Community Housing Association. 18 new build affordable homes now ready for their new residents. 🏠✨

This scheme has also delivered fantastic social value along the way, including Direct Employees from the local area, Supply Chain Employees from the local area, Work Experience placements, Site Visits, Volunteering Hours, and ROTL opportunities. 💪📍

We are proud to have helped supply West Gate School in Leicester with Tuff Trays! 🎉🧡

These have been used to help support students with their educational development. 🌱📚

A special thank you to our Head of Social Value, Abdul Mozzamdar, who reached out to Harley Finishings, when asked if they had any old spares, they kindly stepped up and purchased brand new Tuff Trays for the school instead! 🙌🔧

It's these little things that make us here at Morro proud to build in the communities we serve, we get to give back and make a difference to even more people. 🤝✨
