🚧 Another Fantastic Project Underway! 🏡🔨
Yet another fantastic project underway — this time nestled in the beautiful countryside surrounding one of our local villages.
We’ve now started the transformation of this property, and there’s a lot happening on this one!
The project includes converting the existing garage into a stunning hand-cut vaulted roof with three roof lights, removing two walls and installing triple steels to create a huge open-plan downstairs space.
We’re also creating a brand-new downstairs bathroom, shower ensuite, study/spare room, triple-window installation, double French doors and an impressive bifold rear window overlooking a brand-new, top-end kitchen.
The whole downstairs will have flush flooring throughout, all at one level, alongside completely new electrics and heating.
🔨 Day One Progress
Today we’ve begun carefully propping and acrowing the major external wall, removing the required masonry and preparing the openings for the structural pads and steel installation tomorrow.
Once the external steel is safely supported, we’ll move onto the internal wall and repeat the process for the second steel.
Our electricians have also made the existing electrics safe, carrying out adaptations and rewiring where required. Plumbing has been capped, isolated and altered in key areas whilst maintaining a comfortable living space for our clients throughout the works.
We’re also planning the kitchen installation carefully so that the majority can be prepared in advance, with the final kitchen swap-over completed towards the end of the project. The aim is simple — keep disruption to our clients to an absolute minimum.
There’s plenty of groundwork ahead too, including new drainage and manhole chambers, connecting into the existing drainage run.
👷♂️ Great Teamwork
We had a fantastic visit from our local authority Building Control inspectors today. They’re extremely knowledgeable, always helpful and great to work alongside. We really appreciate their support and input throughout our projects.
And a huge well done to our team today. 👏

🚀 And There’s Plenty More Happening…
Whilst this one gets underway, our other projects are continuing with plastering, second-fix carpentry and finishing works.
We’re also expecting roof timbers to arrive for one of our development projects, have some fantastic meetings lined up this week and are already planning new projects and start dates into next year.
We’ve got a great team, some exciting projects ahead and capacity for new clients to come on board.
