🌿 Say hello to Glossoloma Puroanum! 🌎
We’re delighted to share the story of this remarkable new plant species, discovered on the eastern slopes of the Ecuadorian Andes.
Part of the Gesneriaceae family, which includes familiar favourites such as African Violets, Glossoloma Puroanum is a fascinating creeping plant with colourful flowers that appear to grow upside down! 🌸
The species was discovered by John Clarke within a protected reserve in Ecuador, highlighting the incredible biodiversity found in these precious ecosystems.
At Cornish Coffee, we’re proud to supply Puro Fairtrade Coffee, whose partnership with World Land Trust supports the protection of habitats like this one. 🌿☕️
A wonderful reminder that every cup can help play a part in protecting the places where nature thrives.
