September 2025 House Price Update 🏡

Average new seller asking prices have risen by 0.4% (+£1,517) this month to £370,257. While this marks the first monthly rise since May, prices remain 0.1% lower than a year ago.

Regionally, London and the south of England continue to see more modest trends, while other parts of Great Britain show stronger pricing. Overall sales activity is up 4% compared with last year, with homes outside London and the south recording the biggest increases.

Mortgage affordability has improved since last summer, and the wider choice of homes on the market is continuing to support activity across many regions.
