M**h rules have changed - and they’re now LIVE

M**h contamination rules are officially law. No more “incoming changes”… this is it.
So, what actually matters for landlords? 👇

✔️ If there’s suspicion of m**h manufacture or a test over 15µg/100cm² → professional testing is required
✔️ Confirmed contamination? You must decontaminate, no kicking this down the road
✔️ Tenants need test results within 7 days
✔️ If levels are high, the property could be deemed uninhabitable (with extra rules to follow)

💡 One big takeaway:
Routine testing between tenancies isn’t required, but having a baseline test upfront is still a very smart move. It can save a lot of headaches later (especially with insurance + liability).

At the end of the day, these changes are about one thing: clarity. And that’s a win for everyone.
