What a fantastic few days at the Auckland Home Show!

We had the privilege of speaking with homeowners, property investors, developers, and families looking to better understand what's possible with their land.

The conversations covered a wide range of topics from cross leases, subdivisions, and boundary adjustments.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, shared their plans, and asked questions.

We also want to thank our amazing team who gave up their time over the weekend to represent Horizon. Your knowledge, energy, and willingness to help made the event a great success.

We're looking forward to reconnecting with everyone over the coming weeks.

We are super excited to have a stand at the Auckland Home Show this year!

You'll find Joe and Sandy at stand 111 to talk all things surveying, subdivision, and land development.

Location: Auckland Showgrounds, Greenlane.
When: Thursday 10th - Sunday 13th of September.

Spend a typical day with one of our Planners, Frank.

1. Morning run along Mangawhai Heads Beach.
2. STEPS - tough going but worth the view.
3. Getting ready to head to the office.
4. Arrived.
5. Coffee time.
6. Getting some work done.
7. Talking through plans with Jessie.
8. Lunch break with a view.
9. More work and reading through wonderful feedback from one of our clients!
10. Packing up for the day.

We are looking for a senior land development civil engineer (CPEng) to join our small, tight-knit Auckland team and take ownership of full project lifecycles.

​The Role:

- ​Taking projects from concept through to final delivery.
- ​Carrying out engineering design.
- ​Confidently supervising site works.
- ​Managing contractors and liaising directly with clients.

​About You:

We want a genuinely good person to add to our culture. You need to be someone who works hard but enjoys a laugh with colleagues, loves a bit of team socialising, and is an all-round great fit for a close team.
