Elysian Site Update: Set in Stone

Façade works are now well underway at Elysian.

In this update, we’re on site with Peter Raimondo of Oculus Building Science and Façades, alongside Mark Chee from Terraform Synergy, whose team is installing the building’s stone rainscreen system.

The façade brings together a full performance-led build-up which includes thermally broken joinery, ventilated cavities, and layered membrane systems. It's all designed to manage moisture, improve thermal performance, and ensure long-term durability in a harbourside environment.

A heavy duty rail system sets the alignment before each stone panel is installed with zero tolerances. It’s a precise, methodical process that forms Elysian's stunning Omani marble exterior.

With installation now progressing, the building is starting to take on its final form ahead of completion in Q4 2026.

Elysian x Flaminia. Made Where It Matters.

For this instalment of Elite Journeys, we travelled to Civita Castellana, Italy. The historic heart of Italian ceramics and home to Flaminia.

Every Flaminia piece is made here. Formed and finished in one place, by people who have been working with ceramic for generations.

Across more than 70 years, the company has continued to evolve. Pushing material innovation and refining production techniques. Design is the first conversation, but longevity and precision sit just beneath.

Structure complete. Halfway to the finish.

In December, we paused the tools to acknowledge the collective effort behind Elysian. With on the roof, in hand and the whole team of HR Group, , Kalmar, , consultants and subbies, we took stock of 2025.

Standing on the Level 5 slab at 25 Balfour Road, Elysian is no longer just a render. The heavy lifting is done and the home stretch to Q4 2026 starts now.

Elysian x Gaggenau. From the Black Forest to Balfour Road.

For this instalment of Elite Journeys we travelled to Gaggenau’s factory in Lipsheim to see where Elysian’s appliances are made and meet the people behind them. A group of designers and engineers who think in tolerances of millimetres and decades of use.

Handleless ovens that open with a tap, side-hinged doors that let you cook like a chef, controls that land with the same resistance every time. The precision required for HR Group to choose Gaggenau as the anchor of Elysian’s kitchens.

In homes like these, real luxury is when the equipment disappears and all that’s left is heat, light, and the feeling that everything is exactly as it should be.
