Hi, I’m Sheree Porter, and I’m the heart and soul of Porter Property Management. I love Auckland; I was born and raised here, which is why the business is focused on the North Shore, especially around Takapuna (where I live). As an independent property management company, I consciously keep our portfolio small, so that property owners and tenants have access to prompt and proactive service. Unlike

some other larger, corporate property management businesses, I promise to treat you and your tenants as human beings, not as mere numbers on a spreadsheet, and to treat your investment property as though it were my own. The buck stops here. When you phone, I answer. If rents need reviewing, I make recommendations. If legislation is changing, I advise on compliance. In other words, Porter Property Management takes care of all the everyday hassles, so that you can relax and enjoy the most from your investment. What’s more, I’ve skin in the game; I’m a property owner myself, so I realise that tenant selection is critical. Porter Property Management’s vetting protocols are strict and comprehensive, including extensive background checks (e.g., reference, credit) and broad online research. This means we may not accept the first people to apply. But we will choose the right tenants to ensure a mutually rewarding relationship – for you and for them. In fact, I’ll give you this guarantee: if your tenant falls into arrears and can’t pay their rent, Porter Property Management will pay it. And, to give you even more peace of mind and reflect the pride I take in my work, Porter Property Management is a member of PROMINZ (Property Managers Institute of New Zealand).
