Introducing the 18 players who proudly make up the 2026 Waimakariri United U15 Academy Squad traveling to Gold Coast, Australia to participate in the 2026 Premier Invitational.

A very special thanks to our team sponsor Canterbury Scaffolding who have been with us from the start of the season.

Big thanks also to every supporter who have generously sponsored either the whole team in some way or an individual player to ensure all the boys have been able to travel with the group to participate.

We have some very excited lads who are ready to take on this final challenge of the season and potentially the last time this group of lads will play together.

Working at Height Training ( Refresher) 🏗️

Keeping our scaffolders safe and prepared on site is something we take seriously.

Here’s a few clips from some of our recent Working at Height training, where the guys were getting hands-on with correct handrail techniques, working safely at height, and learning how to carry out a rescue if something goes wrong.

The boys looked like they really enjoyed the training, and it was great to see everyone getting involved and building their confidence and skills.

It’s all about giving our team the development and extra training they need to carry out these tasks safely and confidently when they’re needed on site.

A big thanks to our operations supervisor Mana for hosting and carrying out the training. Great work, mate! 👏

WHAT. A. ROOF! 🤯🔥
We’ve been hanging out to share these photos with you guys, and now we finally can!
Our scaffolding team absolutely smashed this one out. This was no ordinary roof — a massive span, huge scale and an incredibly technical scaffold build that required plenty of planning, precision and some seriously good workmanship.
The guys put in a massive effort to get this one right, and the finished result speaks for itself. 💪

Huge credit to the whole crew that were involved in the delivery of the awesome project. I'm sure i can't name you all but Tahana, Aquilles, jojet, and Ray — you should be bloody proud of this one!

Also a big thank you to Armitage Williams for giving us the opportunity to be part of this awesome project. We really appreciate it and are stoked with how this one came together. 🤝

Supporting Our Local Community!

Today our Scaffolding team had the pleasure of helping out at Avonhead School, erecting a scaffold to form part of their school play.
It’s always great to be able to put our skills and equipment to good use and help out our local community. 👏
Although, judging by the photo, it looks like the boys got a little too excited about being back at school… 😂 Standing up on the podium like they’d just won the school assembly! 🏆🤣
A big shout-out to Tahana, Ryan , and Lil for getting stuck in and doing a great job! 💪
We hope the students have an awesome performance and enjoy the stage they’ve worked so hard to put together. 🎭🙌

We’re proud to share that our team erected a real-quality scaffold on the Rakia Bridge for repairs—supporting our client Smith Cranes.

From the moment it went up, the scaffold performed exactly as it should, with every box ticked on safety, quality, and performance—no shortcuts, just the right build for the job.

We thoroughly enjoyed being part of such a great project. Built by Marc, Bernie, Butch, and Jojjet—great teamwork, and great workmanship throughout.
